06 August 2008 - Facelift for Thule’s No.1 tow bar bike carrier
Thule, the worlds largest manufacturer of car roof systems, accessories and roof boxes has re-designed its best selling EuroClassic tow bar bike carrier range for 2008.

First launched in 1998, the EuroClassic range is known for its stability and functionality on the back of the car and the new G5 models are no exception. The sleek, compact new EuroClassic models are available in two varieties. The G5 908 holds two bikes, whilst the 909 is a high capacity version, able to carry three bikes as standard and four with an adapter.

Peter Barker, UK General Manager says of the new range: “The new G5s epitomise the quality customers expect from the Thule brand. The streamline, clean cut lines look great on the vehicle, whilst ease of mounting keeps the EuroClassic G5 completely practical.”

The effortlessly convenient re-design includes a new ‘smart tilt’ function for boot access when the bikes are in place. The carrier can be easily secured to the tow bar with just one lever, while an adapter also allows for the EuroClassic to be secured on cars with rear wheel mounted spare tyres.

The innovative EuroClassic G5 conforms to latest car models and fits most bikes and wheel sizes with ease – best of all, the EuroClassic is easy to fold up and store away when not in use.
