20 December 2006 - OLD MILL ENJOYS THE SUCCESS AT THE SMITHFIELD SHOW AND WINTER FAIR

Specialist farming accountants Old Mill Rural Services were delighted to sponsor two classes at the Smithfield Show and Winter Fair held at the Bath and West Showground recently. It was the first time this prestigious event has been held outside of London and was regarded a huge success by organisers and attendees. Over 15,000 people attended the event from all over the country and a superb selection of over 800 quality cattle and sheep competed for titles. Neil Cox, Rural Services Manager from the Old Mill Yeovil office presented the award for Champion Hereford Cattle to owner H & E Rudge of Ballingham, Hereford. While Richard Haines of Old Mill’s Shepton Mallet office, presented John Reid of Langholm, Dumfries, with the award for South County Cheviot Class. Neil Cox commented, “This was an extremely enjoyable day for all who attended. Old Mill is proud to have sponsored classes that had such high quality entrants.”
